The architecture sets the stage.
The objects write the story.

A home is never just what we design. It is what we bring to it.
Found pieces, furniture with a story, object passed down from generations; these are the layers of a home.

We have been working on something.

A short series on what a renovation in Amsterdam actually looks like.
The design decisions, the construction process, the moments no one tells you about before you start.

Starting soon. Follow along 🤎

Kitchen counter, up close and in context.

The terrazzo countertop from our Jordaan project. A material chosen for how it behaves in different light, how it sits alongside the walnut, and how it feels underhand.

Floor details in the Musée Picasso, Paris.

Worn limestone, irregular in tone, imperfect in surface. The kind of material that only gets better with age.

A floor holds a space together. This one has been doing it for centuries.

A gorgeous stone arch at the Musée Picasso, Paris.

Raw stone meeting the plastered wall with almost no transition at all. The contrast and harmony between the two is where the beauty lives.

No colour. Just form doing exactly what it needs t
Studio P3 was founded by Peta in Amsterdam in 2020; but the thinking behind it started much earlier.

Growing up in Cape Town, studying architecture in South Africa, then urban design in the Netherlands; each chapter shaped a way of looking at space
